Isles of Scilly – wedding photographer

Huge congrats to Daisy and Scott!

What a breezy busman’s holiday my penultimate wedding of 2022 was. Bags of sun, bags of fun!

The five inhabited islands that make up the Isles of Scilly can be reached by Helicopter or Ferry and lie 28 miles off the southwest coast of Cornwall. For my first destination wedding photographer gig since we’ve returned to normal it made for a gorgeous destination. It felt truly tropical too on account of the stunning weather!!

Bridal prep took place at the tranquil and sumptuous Karma St Martin’s retreat which is – literally – a stone’s throw from the water’s edge. Big shout out to Scilly Hair and Beauty for being a gem and doing a fabulous job!

All the islands have sweeping sandy beaches; a perfect backdrop for wedding couple photos. Our couple’s wedding took place on St Martin’s, more specifically – The Seven Stones Inn.

What an honour to be the very first photographer for a fully licensed wedding there. A bespoke wooden beamed and rustic room annexed to a pub; an intimate and cosy space that looks out to the sea… Oh, and did I mention its next door to the pub!? Loved it! Big thanks go to Dom and the team at the Seven Stones for looking after us all. And to Daisy, Scott and their wedding party for being absolute superstars and a pleasure to be with!
