RUSTIC CORNWALL WEDDING at NANCARROW FARM
Wowzers! That’s how I’d sum it up!!
Nancarrow Farm is a sumptuous venue tucked away in the rolling hills of the Cornish countryside near Truro. I was stoked to be asked to be Allysia and George’s Cornwall wedding photographer. Thank you so much for having me along!!
Courtyards, barns, herb gardens, greenhouses and grassy fields help make this venue a magical space for photos, especially as it was a sun-drenched day – such a heady and an ethereal mix! With an in-house kitchen and catering team, and ample accommodation it’s a dreamy venue for couples who long for a relaxed, and atmospheric wedding.
Amongst Nancarrow Farm’s many photogenetic features is the hay barn where the ceremony takes place; its oak beams and weathered exterior creating a lush rustic vibe and beautifully adorned with flowers from ‘Floren Studio’. The bridal suite, next to the herb garden, provided a space with the most exquisite light. Fizz was fizzed, glasses clinked, and we had loads of fun leading up to the ceremony. It was such a chilled day, everyone beaming from first thing in morning right the way through to the night!
In the lead up to Allysia and George ‘s wedding day they mentioned they might need a little coaxing and direction with the wedding photography; you’d never have thought it!… Looking at the pics and you’d be excused for thinking they were models for a style shoot; naturals! (I like to think that putting couples at ease is one of the skills I bring with the ten years’ experience I have; helping us all have a fun and relaxed time and bringing out the best in the occasion). It’s such a lovely part of the day to take couples off to have a little bit of space, and we timed it just right to harness the best opportunities for golden hour!
