Jim and Stacey’s Alternative Wedding – Plymouth Wedding Photography
When the groom turns up in a classic Ford Cougar car and the bride walks down the aisle to ‘The Killing Moon’ by Echo and the Bunnymen, you know the wedding is going to be out of the ordinary!
I’d already guessed that though when I met Stacey and her bridal crew. After make-up and hair by the lovely Helen and Sadie, Stacey came out adorned in a stunning white Asos jumpsuit and white Buffalo heart print chunky trainers!! (For this Plymouth wedding photographer, the ‘U Got the Love’ vibe was strong!). Mimosas and laughter for breakfast – a beaut recipe.
The boys had somewhat heavier heads (slight understatement), but nothing that bacon and egg sandwiches for breakfast wouldn’t fix, and still on top form for the day ahead.
I love it when couples really imprint their souls on their wedding day and Jim and Stacey certainly did that!! The ceremony had lots of the best kind of tears, the wedding speeches were tip top, and the sun shone as we optimised some of the lovely features of Boringdon Park Golf Club to nab some bride and groom time together.
Okay so I’m gonna get full on soppy here; overall, the sense of how much you two love one another, and how much your friends and family love you was contagious and tangible, and it was such a beautiful thing to be a part of!!
