‘The Great Wedding Bake Off’.
With a series of ‘Bake Off’ currently running on Channel 4 at the mo, I thought it would be a good time to highlight this amazing chapter of Lucy & Chris’s wedding at Hallsannery House, North Devon.
After the planned wedding cake maker wasn’t able to make their cake, Lucy & Chris were presented with a problem… and they found an ingenious solution!
As fans of ‘Bake Off’, they thought it would be fun to invite members of the wedding party to step up and bake a cake, voilà – ‘The Great Wedding Bake Off’ was born!
And boy did the wedding party rise to the occasion! It was so much fun, and it became a key point in the wedding day itinerary … Each cake had such a personal vibe and revealed different aspects of the couple’s story, sometimes with cutting precision! (Excuse the pun! Soz, wedding party joke! See pic of VW van with huge scrape through the side!).
Well done to all the Star Bakers! Not a soggy bottom in sight! And well played Lucy and Chris! So innovative and so game!!
