Pentillie Castle Wedding Photographer
It was wonderful to return to Pentillie Castle for Richard and Sasha’s sun-soaked soiree! Their wedding in May at Pentillie Castle was a Cornwall Wedding photography dream.
Pentillie weddings offer a wealth of photogenic opportunities, as you’ll see in the pics: including, a wonderful wisteria avenue, a stone circle, and gorgeous intimate bathing hut down on the bank of the river Tamar (this is where their ceremony took place). Add to this Richard and Sasha’s eloquent style and, lest we forget, ‘Walter’ the ring bearing dachshund! and you can see why their wedding day was such a winner!
After the getting ready pics in the spacious rooms of the venue, we headed to the bathing hut for the nuptials. Alongside a celebrant led ceremony, a Spike Milligan poem and Shakespeare sonnet were read and after, we had not one, but two confetti shots (!) The bride and groom and their wedding party made the most of the river’s picturesque high tide where it was ‘Pimm’s o’clock’ on the quayside.
Joe, Rich (videographers) and I headed to the stone circle up on the hill for some couple time footage and pics where the couple repeated their vows, outside whilst the guests played lawn games back at the castle… following which we fully optimized the gorgeous light within the wisteria wonderland.
A delicious feast from Outside Inn Cuisine in the immaculate dining room preceded some poignant and witty speeches. How to round off the evening in style? A magical sparkler avenue of course!!
