The ethos is pretty simple:
blend in and capture the spontaneity,
keeping it simple, natural, and relaxed...

Hey, Andy Lawson here; lovely to meet you! .
I currently live quite a nomadic life which sees me in North Cornwall and Devon for most of the spring and summer; along with frequent trips to London and Manchester. From October I live in Mid-West France where I return to making art and photography projects.
My favourite song at a wedding? I’ll give you three guesses… you got it!
The Source ft. Candi Staton ‘You Got the Love’.
I love making 'favourite' lists, music, singing and playing guitar, travelling in my van, good books, poetry, fishing, and it goes without saying, I live n breathe photography and art. Oh, and I nearly forgot! Leo, the cat-share I share with the neighbours. He turned up as a stray one day - and even though I'm allergic to cats - he was just too lovely to turf out onto the streets again...

I have a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from Sir John Cass of Art, LMU, and a Masters Degree from Wimbledon College of Art, University of the Arts London.
I'm a former Senior Lecturer at the Cass School of Art (15 years), where I taught across many disciplines including BA and MA photography; most recently delivering a programme focused on the production of photobooks, so rest assured I have a thorough understanding of how narrative, sequencing and composition all work to help make a successful project; skills I bring to every wedding commission.
I’d love to hear from you, what are you plans? How you met? Is Candi Staton's 'You Got the Love' on the playlist?
Do you need any help selecting a photographer? If you have any questions about what I do and how it all works…please feel free to drop me a line,
... and remember; its going to be TOTALLY amazing!! x
'I think when your photographer is having fun too, the pictures are so much more natural and meaningful. We can't thank Andy enough for the work he did that day, the pictures are truly amazing, from us getting ready, to the end of the night, he didn't miss anything and it was great looking back and seeing all those moments we had missed but he had captured.'
Charles and Becky. 2016.
'We had Andy photograph our wedding in June 2016 and literally couldn't recommend him highly enough. His photographs are fantastic not just technically - they also have a unique quality. While managing to capture the genuine atmosphere of the day way better than I had ever imagined it could be captured, he was also the BEST person to spend all day with right from the pre ceremony nervous bit right through to the dancing madness of the evening do. Top photographer and top person!'
Vin & Mark. 2016.
(to be transparent; I have known Vin & Mark for several years... though we'd never spent a whole day together prior to the wedding).
Bron & Sally 2016.
'We would highly recommend Andy to photograph your special day. Both of us knew we would be very nervous with all of the attention on our wedding day but Andy kept everyone relaxed and managed to capture some very special, natural shots of all of us. We love our photos. He selected a fantastic set that told the story of the day. The combination of black & white and colour worked well with the various settings.'
Gerry & Lynn. 2014.
*in the interests of transparency, I should mention Clare is a very old friend of mine... I don't mean, 'little old lady' very old, I mean we go back a long way - She is very lovely - and totally loves the word 'lovely', as well as the colour green...
